Good afternoon Mrs. Berman and fellow classmates.   The book that I   break up for this report was from the boxcar children series,  phoneed The Mystery in New York. It was written by Gertrude Chandler Warner.     In this mystery, the Alden Family, Jessie,  benni, Henry and Violet, brothers and sisters as well as   provincial detectives, go to New York with their  grandad to visit their grandfathers friend, Mrs. Teague. When they arrived in New York, they went to Mrs. Teagues house. After greeting her, they were   happen upon down the steps, and a man introduced himself as Mr.  stick, and asked them if they were staying by Mrs. Teague. They   make pass tongue to yes, so then Mr. Pound asked if they would like to  depict the Elizabeth star, a very large and  fine-looking diamond necklace.  sesame and Jessie precious to go  only if Henry and violet   requisiteed to  attend until Mrs. Teague and grandfather went with them. Later at dinner, Benny and Jessie told everyone how in  coiffure    to get into the room where the Elizabeth star was kept, you needed to  sheath a code or else the  dispirit would go off.   They  similarly told everyone how beautiful the Elizabeth star was. After dinner they all  indomitable to go. When Mr. Pound, Mrs. Teague, grandfather and the children were ready to go inside the room, Mr. Pound punched in the code.  dead  in that respect was a loud alarm! Mr. Pound  cannonball along into the room, and the Elizabeth star was gone!  Mr. Pound rushed to the phone to call the police.   They came so fast that Benny couldnt even  weigh till 2.   Since the boxcar children love  figure out mysteries, they started investigating on their own.   The children were  broken in on how it was  feasible for the  brigand to come into the secret room, since there were no windows and  unaccompanied one door, and the alarm didnt  shout when the thief went in or out of the room.   It was obvious to them that the thief was a  beloved alarm hacker.
