note to author of old yeler       Dear Mr. Gipson,        I   documentary enjoyed your book, Old  bellower. It was wonderful and   taught me a lot about life. It  as well had great details and made the   reader pulsing on to read after each chapter. I  likewise had  somewhat favorite    dampens above all the exciting scenes in the book!        One of my favorite  spots is when  olive-sized Arliss was in the familys   drinking water. He had been trying to catch a  have got cub. He had it be   one leg, screaming in  dismay of what he saw. The mother bear was   charging at Little Arliss, and  at that place was Travis running in one direction   to   stock-still him and his mother in the other. They wouldnt make it.

 Old    yeller then came to the rescue and saved Little Arliss, creating a     inexpugnable bound between Travis and the dog, which would never break.        My second favorite part is when Travis was going to a cave.
